Terms of Service

By accessing or using MeBirth ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 16 years old to use MeBirth, wherever you live. The same rule appears on the sign-up page, next to the Google button, and in our Privacy Policy. By creating an account — with email or with Google — you confirm that you are 16 or older. We do not ask for your birth year, so we rely on that confirmation; if we learn an account belongs to someone under 16, we will delete it.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate and truthful profile information.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may not share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing our rules.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the Service without our written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation or spam.
• Send wishes or connect requests to pressure, spam or track someone.

Birthday wishes are chosen from a fixed set of messages, and a connect request shares only the social handle you choose — there is no free-text chat, on purpose. You can report any profile from its card; we review every report and may remove content or accounts.

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile photos, bio text, etc.). By submitting content, you grant MeBirth a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute your content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

You represent that your content does not violate the rights of any third party and that you have all rights necessary to grant the above license. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

Birthday freebies you submit are reviewed before they appear, and we may edit, verify or remove them. Twin Cards are images made on your device from what you can already see on your card; when you share one, you choose where it goes.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (excluding user-submitted content) — including but not limited to the MeBirth name, logo, and software — are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Birthday freebies and deals are offered by the brands themselves, not by MeBirth. Brands can change or end an offer at any time — always check the brand's own terms before you go. Horoscopes are for entertainment only.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEBIRTH AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the Service. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

MeBirth is operated from British Columbia, Canada. These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes are subject to the courts of British Columbia — except where the law of the country you live in gives you rights that cannot be waived. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notifying you via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Change history

• 22 September 2026 — minimum age set to 16 everywhere (it read 13, or 16 in the EEA); rules for wishes, reports, submitted freebies and Twin Cards added; governing law named.
• 9 September 2026 — guest browsing removed; an account is now required.
